We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP technical solutions across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ABAP development, SAP architecture, integrations, and technical leadership, with the ability to drive enterprise-scale SAP transformation programmes.

Responsibilities :

- Define and govern SAP ABAP development standards, frameworks, and best practices.

- Architect and deliver scalable SAP solutions across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and related SAP applications.

- Lead technical design discussions and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

- Design and develop complex RICEFW objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows).

- Drive SAP S/4HANA custom code remediation, optimisation, and migration activities.

- Develop and review ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and RAP-based applications.

- Design and implement integration solutions using BAPI, RFC, IDoc, REST APIs, SOAP services, SAP CPI, and PI/PO.

- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

- Conduct code reviews and establish quality assurance processes.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, architects, and project managers.

- Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

- Support SAP Fiori, BTP, and cloud-based extension developments.

Requirements :

- 12+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.

- 3+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA architecture and implementation projects.

- Experience leading technical teams in large-scale SAP transformation programmes.

- Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and integration patterns.

- Experience in multiple end-to-end implementation, upgrade, migration, or rollout projects.

- Expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex SAP applications.

Required Technical Skills :

- Core SAP ABAP : Strong experience in ABAP/4 ABAP Objects (OO ABAP), Dialogue Programming, ALV Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs, and Module Pool Programming.

- SAP S/4HANA Development : CDS Views, AMDP, Code Pushdown Techniques, Embedded Analytics, OData Services, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), SAP Gateway.

- Integration Technologies : BAPI, RFC, ALE/IDoc, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, SAP CPI (Cloud Integration), SAP PI/PO.

- SAP Fiori and BTP (Preferred) : SAP Fiori, SAP UI5 SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Extension Suite.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.

- SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP for SAP HANA.

- SAP S/4HANA certification preferred.

- SAP BTP certification is an added advantage.
