We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect / SAP BTP Technical Lead with 7 - 9 years of SAP technical consulting and delivery experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP architecture, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP ECC6, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Integration technologies, SAP on Azure, Fiori development, and cloud-native application development.

The candidate will be responsible for defining SAP technical architecture, establishing development standards, leading technical teams, and delivering enterprise-scale SAP transformation programs. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP cloud technologies, integration architecture, application development, and SAP modernization initiatives.

The consultant will collaborate closely with enterprise architects, SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, cloud teams, and development teams to design scalable, secure, and future-ready SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP Technical Architecture:

- Design and govern end-to-end SAP technical architecture across SAP ECC6, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and cloud platforms.

- Define technical roadmaps, solution blueprints, and architecture standards for SAP transformation programs.

- Provide technical leadership for SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, integration, and modernization projects.

- Ensure SAP solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and business objectives.

- Review solution designs and provide architectural recommendations for scalability, performance, and maintainability.

2. SAP Technical Delivery Leadership:

- Lead technical delivery activities across multiple SAP projects and programs.

- Manage technical workstreams and coordinate with development, infrastructure, integration, and functional teams.

- Establish SAP development standards, governance frameworks, coding guidelines, and best practices.

- Drive quality assurance activities including design reviews, code reviews, and technical audits.

- Mentor technical consultants and provide guidance on SAP development and architecture decisions.

3. SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP):

- Design and implement solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform.

- Develop extension strategies using SAP BTP while preserving SAP core system integrity.

- Architect side-by-side extensions and cloud-native applications.

- Leverage SAP BTP services including: 1. SAP Integration Suite, 2. SAP Extension Suite, 3. SAP Build, 4. Cloud Foundry, 5. SAP HANA Cloud, 6. SAP Event Mesh, 7. SAP Workflow Management.

- Support BTP application deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

4. SAP ECC6 & SAP S/4HANA:

- Provide architecture and technical guidance for SAP ECC6 and SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Support SAP S/4HANA transformation, migration, and upgrade initiatives.

- Design integration and extension solutions for SAP business processes.

- Optimize SAP landscapes for performance, security, and operational efficiency.

5. SAP Integration Architecture:

- Design and implement enterprise integration solutions connecting SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Architect APIs, web services, middleware integrations, and event-driven architectures.

- Support integrations using: 1. SAP Integration Suite, 2. SAP CPI, 3. SAP PI/PO, 4. REST APIs, 5. OData Services, 6. SOAP Services, 7. Event-Based Integrations.

- Ensure reliable and secure data exchange across enterprise applications.

6. SAP on Hyperscalers & Azure:

- Design SAP landscapes running on hyperscaler cloud platforms.

- Support SAP deployments on Microsoft Azure environments.

- Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to optimize SAP workloads.

- Ensure cloud architecture follows best practices for security, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery.

- Support SAP cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

7. SAP Fiori & User Experience Development:

- Architect and oversee SAP Fiori application development.

- Guide teams in building responsive and user-friendly SAP applications.

- Ensure adherence to SAP UX and Fiori design principles.

- Support SAPUI5 development and Fiori application deployment.

8. Cloud Application Development:

- Design and oversee development of cloud-native SAP applications.

- Support application development using: 1. SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), 2. Java, 3. Node.js, 4. SAP HANA Cloud, 5. HTML5, 6. SAPUI5.

- Define development frameworks and reusable components for enterprise applications.

- Ensure application security, performance, and maintainability.

9. DevOps & Source Code Management:

- Establish DevOps practices for SAP development projects.

- Manage source code repositories and branching strategies.

- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation for SAP BTP applications.

- Utilize GitHub for source control, version management, collaboration, and code reviews.

- Promote automated testing and deployment practices.

10. Governance, Security & Best Practices:

- Define SAP technical standards and development methodologies.

- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct architecture reviews and technical risk assessments.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and technical innovation programs.

11. Testing, Deployment & Support:

- Support technical design reviews, testing strategies, and deployment planning.

- Participate in go-live planning and production support activities.

- Provide technical escalation support for critical project issues.

- Ensure successful delivery of high-quality SAP solutions.

Required Qualifications:

- 8 - 15+ years of SAP technical consulting and delivery experience.

- Proven experience leading SAP technical workstreams and architecture initiatives.

- Strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

- Experience with SAP ECC6 and SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Strong SAP Integration architecture experience.

- Experience designing SAP solutions on Microsoft Azure.

- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, CAP, Java, and Node.js.

- Strong understanding of cloud-native SAP application development.

- Experience establishing SAP development standards and governance processes.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP BTP Certification.

- SAP Solution Architect Certification.

- Microsoft Azure Certification.

- Experience in large-scale SAP transformation programs.

- Experience with SAP RISE and cloud migration projects.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- Master's Degree or relevant SAP certifications will be an added advantage.
