Job Title : SAP SD Senior Consultant (8+ Years Experience)
Location : Bangalore (Onsite)

Job Summary :
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring stability of production systems, driving continuous improvements, and partnering with business stakeholders to optimize Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes in both ECC and S/4HANA environments.
This role demands a strong blend of functional knowledge, analytical problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and hands-on configuration skills within an SLA-driven support model.
Key Responsibilities :
Incident & Service Request Management (AMS) :
- Resolve SAP P3 and P4 incidents and service requests within defined SLAs and KPIs.
- Perform detailed issue analysis using logs, transaction data, and debugging techniques.
- Prioritize tickets based on business impact and urgency.
- Ensure high-quality and timely resolution with minimal business disruption.
SAP SD Functional Expertise (OTC Process) :
- Provide end-to-end support for Order-to-Cash (OTC) lifecycle including :
1. Inquiry & Quotation Management
2. Sales Order Processing (Standard, Rush, Third-party, Intercompany)
3. Pricing & Condition Technique (Access sequences, condition tables, pricing procedures)
4. Availability Check (ATP) and Transfer of Requirements
5. Delivery Processing, Picking, Packing, and Post Goods Issue (PGI)
6. Billing (Invoices, Credit/Debit Memos, Proforma Invoices)
7. Returns Processing and Refund Handling
- Handle customer master data, partner determination procedures, and output determination.
- Work on credit management (basic and FSCM integration where applicable).
Configuration & Enhancements :
- Perform configuration changes using SPRO based on business requirements.
- Support minor enhancements, reports, and developments in collaboration with ABAP team.
- Analyze functional specifications and validate technical developments.
- Participate in change requests (CRs) including impact analysis, effort estimation, and implementation.
- Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
- Identify process gaps and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Proactively monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
Stakeholder Communication :
- Interact directly with business users, process owners, and client stakeholders.
- Conduct regular status updates, incident reviews, and RCA discussions.
- Translate business requirements into functional solutions.
Cross-Module Integration :
- Work closely with :
1. MM (Procurement, Inventory Management)
2. FI (Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition)
3. EWM/WM (Warehouse processes)
- Ensure seamless integration and data consistency across modules.
Testing & Quality Assurance :
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT cycles.
- Prepare test scripts and validate business scenarios.
- Ensure defect-free transport of changes to production.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain detailed documentation for incidents, RCA, configurations, and solutions.
- Create and update knowledge base articles (KBAs).
- Ensure proper audit and compliance documentation.
Governance & Compliance :
- Follow ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Ensure adherence to transport management and release processes.
- Maintain compliance with access control and security policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 8+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience in support and/or implementation projects.
- Strong expertise in :
1. Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle
2. Pricing and condition technique
4. Billing and invoicing processes
5. Delivery and shipping processes
- Experience working in SLA-driven AMS environments.
- Strong experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy.
- Ability to analyze system issues using logs, dumps, and debugging tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Good understanding of integration with MM, FI, and other SAP modules.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a global support model.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and support processes.
Technical Skills (Detailed) :
- Pricing (Condition Technique, Access Sequences, Pricing Procedures)
- Output Determination (NAST / BRF+ in S/4)
- IDocs (ORDERS, INVOIC, DELVRY) and interface handling
- Basic ABAP debugging (user exits, BADIs, enhancements)
- Data migration and LSMW/BDC tools (if applicable)
- S/4HANA SD simplifications and Fiori apps (preferred)
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (SD module)
- Knowledge of FSCM Credit Management
- Exposure to integration with third-party systems (EDI, APIs)
- Familiarity with SAP OSS Notes, KBAs, and release notes
- Experience working in a global delivery model
- Understanding of transport and release management processes
Good to Have :
- SAP SD Certification
- Experience in rollout or implementation projects
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with automation tools or monitoring dashboards
