SAP S/4HANA TM Consultant

Job Title : SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) Consultant

Role Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) Consultant with 3 - 7 years of experience in SAP TM implementation, configuration, testing, and business process improvement. The candidate will support transportation planning, freight execution, settlement, optimisation, and integration with logistics and finance processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Support SAP TM implementation, configuration, upgrade validation, and transformation initiatives.

- Configure and validate SAP TM processes, including Transportation Planning, Carrier Selection, Freight Order Management, Freight Execution, and Freight Settlement.

- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and defect resolution.

- Support integration between SAP TM and SAP EWM, SD, MM, FI/CO, GTS, and external carrier systems.

- Validate freight cost calculation, charge management, settlement, invoicing, and transportation analytics.

- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and support solution design.

- Assist with transportation planning, carrier management, route optimisation, and logistics process improvements.

- Support cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation activities.

- Troubleshoot SAP TM issues and provide application and production support.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

- 3 - 7 years of overall SAP experience, with relevant hands-on experience in SAP TM.

- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.

- Experience with transportation planning, freight execution, freight settlement, and carrier management.

- Understanding of freight order management, route optimisation, and logistics processes.

- Experience in SAP TM implementation, configuration, testing, or support.

- Familiarity with integration between SAP TM and SAP EWM, SD, MM, and FI/CO.

- Experience with SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation and upgrade projects.

- Knowledge of SAP GTS, Logistics Execution, and external carrier integrations.

- Experience with freight cost calculation, charge management, and transportation analytics.

- Familiarity with cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams.
