Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer with strong expertise in ABAP Objects (OOPs), SAP HANA Development, and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA applications while following modern SAP development practices.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance solutions using SAP HANA, CDS Views, RAP-based services, OData APIs, and ABAP OO concepts. Prior exposure to SAP Production Revenue Accounting (PRA) processes within the Oil & Gas industry will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP ABAP Development :

Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using :

a. ABAP

b. ABAP Objects (ABAP OO)

c. Enhancement Framework

d. BADIs

e. User Exits

f. Customer Exits

- Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

- Analyze functional specifications and convert them into technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.

SAP S/4HANA Technical Development :

- Develop and optimize applications for SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Leverage SAP HANA capabilities for high-performance application development.

- Utilize code pushdown techniques for optimized database processing.

- Support SAP modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

- Participate in S/4HANA implementation, migration, and enhancement projects.

RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) :

- Design and develop applications using SAP RAP framework.

- Create and maintain :

a. Business Objects

e. Business Services

- Develop RAP-managed and RAP-unmanaged applications.

- Implement draft-enabled applications.

- Build cloud-ready and upgrade-safe SAP solutions.

CDS View Development :

- Design and develop :

a. Basic CDS Views

b. Composite CDS Views

c. Consumption Views

d. Analytical Views

- Implement :

- Support SAP Fiori and reporting applications using CDS-based data models.

SAP HANA Development :

- Develop HANA-optimized applications and data models.

- Work with :

c. AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)

- Optimize database performance and query execution.

- Troubleshoot performance issues and recommend improvements.

API & Integration Development :

- Develop and expose :

a. OData Services

- Integrate SAP applications with external systems.

- Develop reusable APIs for business processes.

- Support integration troubleshooting and issue resolution.

SAP PRA (Preferred) :

- Support SAP Production Revenue Accounting (PRA) related enhancements and developments.

d. Joint Venture Accounting Interfaces

- Collaborate with functional consultants to implement PRA-specific requirements.

- Participate in Oil & Gas domain projects where applicable.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Develop and execute ABAP Unit Test cases.

- Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments.

Support & Maintenance :

- Ensure timely delivery of enhancements and defect fixes.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
