SAP S/4HANA ABAP TM Developer (Transportation Management)

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP TM Developer with strong expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TM) and ABAP development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP TM solutions while working on S/4HANA implementations. This role involves designing scalable technical solutions, developing custom applications, integrating SAP modules, and collaborating with functional consultants to deliver business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom developments in SAP S/4HANA ABAP for SAP Transportation Management (TM).

- Develop and enhance SAP TM applications using Object-Oriented ABAP.

- Work on SAP TM Business Objects (TOR Model) and implement custom enhancements.

- Build and enhance OData Services, CDS Views, and RESTful APIs.

- Develop custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

- Design and implement BOPF objects and enhancements.

- Configure and develop applications using Floor Plan Manager (FPM) and FBI integration.

- Develop Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and output management solutions.

- Optimize ABAP code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.

- Support integration with other SAP and third-party systems.

SAP Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP Development.

- Hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM).

- Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) ,Open SQL ,Native SQL

- Strong knowledge of BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework) , BOPF Enhancement Framework

- Experience with Floor Plan Manager (FPM), FBI Integration , TM Business Objects (TOR Model)

SAP Development :

- Experience in developing :

- Strong understanding of system integration techniques.

- Expertise in ABAP performance tuning and optimization.

- Knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting complex SAP applications.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- SAP S/4HANA ABAP certification is an added advantage.

- SAP Transportation Management (TM) implementation experience is highly preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
