Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer to work on a strategic Purchase Order Modernization Program focused on transforming procurement processes using modern SAP S/4HANA technologies.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting solutions in the areas of Purchase Order Workflow, Output Management, EDI Integrations, RAP-based APIs, CDS Views, OData Services, and SAP MM processes.

The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in ABAP OO, RAP (Unmanaged & Draft), CDS View Modeling, OData, SOAP Services, EML, API development, and automated testing while working within SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Purchase Order Modernization :

- Participate in SAP S/4HANA Purchase Order modernization initiatives.

- Design and develop enhancements for procurement and purchasing processes.

- Support modernization of :

- Collaborate with procurement business teams to understand requirements and implement technical solutions.

RAP Development :

- Develop applications using SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).

- Develop RAP-managed and RAP-unmanaged scenarios.

- Implement draft-enabled applications using RAP Draft Framework.

- Utilize EML (Entity Manipulation Language) for business object processing.

- Ensure RAP developments align with SAP Clean Core principles.

CDS View Development :

- Design and develop :

1. Basic CDS Views

2. Composite CDS Views

3. Consumption Views

- Implement :

- Optimize CDS views for SAP HANA performance.

- Support Fiori and API consumption through CDS-based models.

API & OData Development :

- Develop and expose APIs using RAP-based service architecture.

- Build and maintain :

- Develop reusable APIs for procurement and purchasing processes.

- Integrate SAP applications with external systems and third-party platforms.

- Troubleshoot API performance and connectivity issues.

Purchase Order Workflow Development :

- Enhance and support Purchase Order approval workflows.

- Develop workflow extensions and business rules.

- Configure workflow triggers and approval routing mechanisms.

- Collaborate with business teams to streamline approval processes.

Output Management :

- Support SAP S/4HANA Output Management framework.

- Configure and enhance :

- Troubleshoot output generation and delivery issues.

EDI & Integration Development :

- Develop and support EDI integrations for procurement transactions.

- Support procurement document exchange and monitoring.

Testing & Quality Assurance :
