Consultant - SAP S/4HANA Logistics Transformation Lead

About the Role :

Our client, a leading global FMCG organization, is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Logistics Functional Lead with expertise in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TM) to join a major S/4HANA transformation program in India. This is a full-time, 12+ month on-site assignment in Mumbai.

Position Summary :

As the SAP S/4HANA Logistics Transformation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the client through a significant logistics transformation. You will leverage your deep functional knowledge of SAP logistics solutions and your experience in large-scale transformations to ensure a successful transition to S/4HANA.

Duration : 12+ months

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead As-Is process mapping for Warehouse Management and Transportation Management across India sites and distribution centers.

- Design the migration path from Centralized Warehouse Management (CWM) to Embedded S/4 EWM.

- Lead the migration from SAP TM to S/4 Advanced Transportation Management.

- Configure core EWM functionalities, including warehouse structure, goods movement, inventory management, and RF/Fiori transactions.

- Design the freight collaboration solution using SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN).

- Drive data quality assessment for logistics master data.

- Coordinate with 3PL partners and logistics service providers for system transitions.

Requirements and Qualifications :

- MBA in Supply Chain / Operations from a Tier 1 B-School (e.g., NITIE, IIT Bombay, SP Jain, or other Tier I institutions).

- Minimum 7 - 9 years of Logistics Operations experience within an FMCG organization.

- 8 - 12+ years of SAP functional experience with deep expertise in WM, EWM (Embedded and/or decentralized), and SAP TM.

- At least 2 full end-to-end SAP implementations involving warehouse and/or transportation management workstreams.

- Hands-on knowledge of EWM configuration : warehouse structure, goods movement, RF transactions, Handling Unit Management, and Physical Inventory.

- Proven experience with SAP Transportation Management, including freight planning, execution, carrier collaboration, and freight settlement.

- Total Experience : 10+ years.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with CWM to EWM migration (Embedded EWM) is strongly preferred.

- Familiarity with SAP LBN (Logistics Business Network) for freight collaboration.

- Knowledge of SAP Yard Management and dock scheduling.

- Experience with RF/Barcode scanning and Fiori-based warehouse transactions.

- Understanding of India logistics regulations and compliance requirements within the SAP context.

- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery frameworks.
