ABOUT THE ROLE :

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant / Lead to serve as the primary SAP country anchor in India for a leading global industrial manufacturing enterprise.

The organization is undertaking a major digital transformation, executing a Greenfield ECC-to-S/4HANA migration led by the European Group IT team. In this role, you will bridge local Indian business requirements with global system design-owning process fit-gap analysis, key user training, data migration, and daily operational support across SD, MM, PP, FI, and CO.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- S/4HANA Greenfield Migration : Lead the local India workstream for the ECC-to-S/4HANA Greenfield rollout in close coordination with Group IT in Europe.

- Process Mapping & Fit-Gap Analysis : Conduct fit-gap workshops with business key users across SD, MM, PP, FI, and CO; map legacy ECC workflows to standard S/4HANA processes.

- Core Module Governance :

1. Sales & Distribution (SD) : Manage Order-to-Cash (O2C) design, pricing, credit management, ATP, delivery, and billing.

2. Materials Management (MM) : Oversee Procure-to-Pay (P2P), purchasing, GR/IR, vendor management, and material valuation.

3. Production Planning (PP) : Drive demand management, MRP, production orders, shop floor execution, BOM, routing, and capacity planning.

4. FI/CO Integration : Ensure seamless financial integration touchpoints with GL, AP, AR, Cost Center/Profit Center Accounting, and Product Costing.

- Data Migration & Spec Validation : Coordinate data cleansing, manage data upload using S/4HANA migration tools, and validate functional specs (RICEFW objects).

- Testing & Stabilization : Facilitate SIT, UAT, cutover planning, end-user training, and post-go-live hypercare.

- Local Business Partnership : Serve as the first point of contact for functional SAP issues in India, triaging incidents with global Group IT and coaching key users.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS :

- Experience : 8-10 years of total SAP functional consulting experience in manufacturing/industrial sectors, including at least 2-3 years of hands-on S/4HANA experience.

- Project History : Must have led at least 2 full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.

- Functional Scope : Expert-level functional depth in SD, MM, and PP, with solid working knowledge of FI/CO integration layers.

- Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with S/4HANA architecture, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Fiori apps, and data migration tools (LTMC, LTMOM, or Migration Cockpit).

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related fields (MBA preferred).

- Collaboration : Proven ability to work effectively with remote international teams (Group IT Europe) and manage local business stakeholders
