SAP Project System (SAP PS) Consultant - Public Cloud

Position Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Project System (SAP PS) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of SAP PS experience and proven experience delivering at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

The consultant will be responsible for SAP PS solution design, configuration, implementation, testing, integration, and post-go-live support, working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams.

Experience or domain knowledge in the Education sector is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP PS implementations on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP PS solutions.

- Configure SAP PS functionality including :

1. Project definitions

2. WBS elements

3. Networks and activities

4. Project planning and scheduling

5. Project budgeting and cost planning

6. Project costing

7. Milestone processing

8. Project settlement

9. Actual and commitment cost tracking

10. Project status management

- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform fit-to-standard analysis, and identify process improvements.

- Prepare functional specifications and configuration documentation.

- Configure and support SAP PS integration with relevant modules such as :

1. SAP Finance (FI)

2. Controlling (CO)

3. Materials Management (MM)

4. Sales and Distribution (SD)

5. Asset Management (EAM), where applicable

- Support data migration, configuration validation, integration testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.

- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide appropriate solutions during implementation and production support.

- Work with SAP technical teams, integration teams, and business stakeholders to resolve cross-functional issues.

- Participate in SAP Activate implementation activities, including fit-to-standard workshops, sprint planning, testing, cutover, and hypercare.

- Ensure solutions follow SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud best practices and standard functionality.

- Support continuous improvement and optimization of SAP PS processes after implementation.

- Prepare training materials and provide knowledge transfer to business users and support teams.

- Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on SAP PS experience.

- Proven experience with at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

- Strong understanding of SAP Project System business processes and configuration.

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation methodology and SAP standard processes.

- Strong understanding of SAP PS integration with FI/CO and other relevant SAP modules.

- Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP certification, particularly an SAP S/4HANA Cloud / Public Cloud certification, is preferred.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is highly desirable.

- Experience working with SAP Activate methodology.

- Experience in the Education sector is preferred.

- Experience with SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) and SAP Cloud implementation tools is an advantage.

- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP standard cloud applications is an advantage.

- Exposure to SAP integration, APIs, or cloud-based integration platforms is a plus.

Education Domain Experience :

- Experience in the Education sector is preferred but not mandatory.

- Candidates with experience implementing SAP solutions for universities, colleges, educational institutions, research organizations, or similar organizations will be advantageous.
