Location : Navi Mumbai (Onsite - Customer Location)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented SAP Project Manager with 6-8 years of overall experience, preferably in the manufacturing domain. This role requires a hands-on "task master" who can drive execution rigor, ensure accountability, and keep projects on track through strong planning, coordination, and follow-through.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to SAP projects and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience or familiarity with SAP Manufacturing modules or MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) will be a strong advantage. This is a client-facing, onsite role based in Navi Mumbai, requiring close collaboration with customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Planning & Execution :

- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business objectives

- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and milestones

- Drive end-to-end execution of SAP projects (implementation, rollout, or support engagements)

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Task & Delivery Management (Task Master Role) :

- Break down project deliverables into actionable tasks and assign ownership

- Closely track daily/weekly progress and enforce accountability across teams

- Proactively follow up with team members to ensure deadlines are met

- Identify bottlenecks and take corrective actions to maintain momentum

Stakeholder & Client Management :

- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders at the Navi Mumbai location

- Build strong relationships with business users, IT teams, and leadership

- Conduct regular status meetings, steering committee updates, and reviews

- Translate business requirements into actionable project deliverables

Risk & Issue Management :

- Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies

- Manage and resolve project issues, escalations, and dependencies

- Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during project execution

Coordination & Communication :

- Coordinate between cross-functional teams including SAP functional consultants, technical teams, and third-party vendors

- Ensure seamless communication between onsite and offshore teams (if applicable)

- Maintain transparency through regular reporting (status reports, dashboards, KPIs)

Quality & Governance :

- Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, standards, and best practices

- Maintain proper documentation (project plans, risk logs, meeting minutes, etc.)

- Monitor deliverable quality and ensure alignment with client expectations

Change Management & Support :

- Support organizational change management activities

- Ensure smooth adoption of new systems/processes by end users

- Assist in post-go-live support and stabilization phases

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-8 years of total industry experience with at least 2-4 years in project coordination or project management roles

- Strong exposure to manufacturing industry processes

- Proven ability to manage tasks, timelines, and cross-functional teams effectively

- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and execution skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of SAP Manufacturing modules such as PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), PM (Plant Maintenance), or related areas

- Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)

- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, or support projects

- Understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid)

- Certification in PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum (nice to have, not mandatory)

Work Location & Engagement Details :

Location : Navi Mumbai (Mandatory Onsite at Customer Location)

Duration : Initial 1-year contract

Extension : Possible based on individual performance and client satisfaction

Work Mode : 5 days/week from office
