Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP PPDS Consultant / Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling, and SAP manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience across production planning, demand management, MPS/MRP, capacity planning, production execution, and PP-PI processes.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, configure, implement, and support SAP PPDS solutions while ensuring seamless integration with related SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in SAP PPDS implementation, enhancement, and support projects across the complete project lifecycle.

- Configure and support Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) processes.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

- Provide cross-functional integration expertise across Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), Product Costing, and Plant Maintenance (PM).

- Configure and maintain production planning master data, including:

1. Material Master - MRP Views & Work Scheduling

2. Bill of Materials (BOM)

3. Work Centers

4. Routings

5. Production Versions

- Configure and support Sales & Operations Planning (SOP), including Standard SOP, Flexible Planning, and planning table maintenance.

- Implement and support Demand Management strategies ranging from Make-to-Stock (MTS) to Make-to-Order (MTO).

- Work on Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes.

- Support capacity evaluation and capacity leveling activities.

- Manage the complete production order lifecycle, including order creation, execution, confirmation, and closure.

- Work with PP-PI master data, including resources and recipes.

- Configure and support process management, including:

1. Process Instructions

2. Process Messages

3. Control Recipes

4. Process Instruction Sheets

- Participate in testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-go-live support.

- Prepare functional documentation and provide knowledge transfer to business and support teams.

- Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to ensure successful integration and delivery.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

- 3-9 years of industry experience in SAP PP/PPDS.

- Strong understanding of cross-functional integration with:

1. Production Planning (PP)

2. Materials Management (MM)

3. Quality Management (QM)

4. Product Costing

5. Plant Maintenance (PM)

- Strong hands-on experience with Production Planning Master Data.

- Experience with SOP, Demand Management, MPS, MRP, and Capacity Planning.

- Experience managing Production Orders from creation through execution and closure.

- Good knowledge of PP-PI master data and process management.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes.

Good to Have / Added Advantage:

- Experience in Repetitive Manufacturing.

- Experience with Kanban.

- Experience with Long-Term Planning (LTP).

- Exposure to SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO).

- Experience working on complex manufacturing and planning environments.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
