Job Title : SAP PP with QM Consultant

Location : Hosur, Tamil Nadu (12 days per week from Hosur; remaining working days from Bangalore)

Working Days : Alternate Saturdays are working

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP with QM Consultant with around 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC 6.0 implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and production support. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, configuring, and optimizing Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) processes for automotive and engineering manufacturing environments. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP solutions while ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure, implement, and support SAP PP and QM modules in SAP ECC 6.0.

- Analyze business requirements and design effective production planning and quality management solutions.

- Configure and maintain Production Planning processes, including :

1. Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

2. Work Center Scheduling

3. Production Orders

4. Capacity Planning

5. Shop Floor Control

- Configure and support Quality Management processes, including :

1. Quality Planning

2. Quality Inspection

3. Inspection Plans

4. Notifications

5. Results Recording

6. Defect Management

- Create and maintain master data including BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, and Inspection Plans.

- Ensure seamless integration between PP/QM and SAP MM, SD, and PM modules.

- Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, and custom workflows.

- Collaborate with business users to understand manufacturing requirements and recommend best practices.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and work effectively within Scrum or Kanban environments.

- Prepare functional specifications, user documentation, and training materials.

- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvements.

Required Skills :

- Around 5 years of SAP PP and QM experience.

- Strong implementation and support experience in SAP ECC 6.0.

- Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, and PM.

- Experience working with IDocs, BAPIs, and workflow solutions.

- Experience working in Agile environments using Jira or similar tools.

- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA.

- SAP PP and/or QM Certification.

- BE/B.Tech in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
