Role Overview :

As an SAP PP Consultant, you will serve as a critical bridge between complex manufacturing requirements and technical system architecture. You will engage directly with stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable SAP Production Planning solutions, ensuring that production workflows are seamless and data-driven. Your daily contributions will involve managing end-to-end implementation lifecycles, troubleshooting integration points, and driving process improvements that directly enhance the operational efficiency and output quality for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and configure SAP PP solutions to align with client-specific manufacturing processes, ensuring high system performance and user adoption.

- Lead full-cycle SAP implementations by managing requirements gathering, blueprinting, realization, and post-go-live support to ensure project success.

- Optimize production scheduling and resource utilization by implementing advanced Capacity Planning strategies that minimize downtime and maximize throughput.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including MM, QM, and FICO consultants, to ensure seamless integration across the entire SAP landscape.

- Conduct comprehensive workshops and training sessions for end-users to facilitate smooth transitions and improve overall system proficiency.

- Analyze existing business bottlenecks and provide strategic recommendations for process re-engineering to drive long-term operational excellence.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in SAP PP configuration, including master data management, MRP, shop floor control, and capacity leveling.

- Proven ability to manage complex SAP implementation projects with 8 - 12 years of professional experience in functional consulting roles.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate intricate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating client discussions and driving consensus in high-pressure environments.

- Proficiency in integrating SAP PP with other core modules and external manufacturing execution systems to ensure data integrity.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Chennai, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration with distributed project teams.
