Consultant - SAP PM/CS

Role Purpose :

We are seeking an experienced SAP PM/CS Consultant to lead the functional design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Customer Service (CS) modules. The role will focus on driving operational excellence through SAP best practices, process improvements, system rollouts, and post-go-live support while acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Design & Process Optimization :

- Analyze business requirements and identify process improvement opportunities.

- Design organizational structures and business process flows aligned with SAP PM/CS best practices.

- Develop functional solution blueprints for enhancements and new implementations.

- Recommend process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

System Configuration & Implementation :

- Configure SAP PM/CS modules according to business and compliance requirements.

- Prepare functional specifications for developments, enhancements, and integrations.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.

- Ensure successful deployment of SAP solutions.

Documentation & Governance :

- Create and maintain business blueprints, functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.

- Ensure documentation adheres to governance, compliance, and audit standards.

Issue Resolution & Support :

- Analyze and resolve SAP PM/CS-related issues.

- Provide ongoing production support and system stabilization.

- Collaborate with technical teams to implement corrective actions.

Data Migration & Cutover Management :

- Lead master data preparation, validation, and migration activities.

- Prepare migration templates and coordinate data uploads.

- Support cutover planning and go-live readiness activities.

Go-Live & Hypercare Support :

- Coordinate go-live activities across functional and technical teams.

- Provide hypercare support during stabilization phases.

- Optimize configurations based on business feedback and operational needs.

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

- 4-6 years of SAP functional consulting experience.

- Proven hands-on implementation experience in SAP PM/CS modules.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications :

- SAP PM/CS Certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in SAP PM/CS configuration.

- Functional specification development.

- Data migration and cutover execution.

- Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing.

- Understanding of cross-module SAP integrations.

Added Advantage :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA PM/CS.
