SAP OpenText EDI Consultant

Description :

We are looking for an experienced SAP OpenText EDI Consultant to join our growing enterprise technology team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP EDI integrations, OpenText solutions, and B2B communication processes with hands-on experience in implementation, support, and enhancement projects.

The candidate will play a critical role in designing, configuring, monitoring, and supporting EDI interfaces between SAP and external business partners while ensuring seamless business communication and data exchange across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, implement, and support SAP EDI and OpenText integration solutions

- Configure and maintain EDI transactions and mappings for various business processes

- Work on end-to-end EDI implementations including partner onboarding and communication setup

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements and provide scalable solutions

- Monitor EDI interfaces and troubleshoot production issues to ensure uninterrupted business operations

- Perform root cause analysis and provide timely resolution for interface failures and data inconsistencies

- Handle enhancements, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities

- Coordinate with external vendors, clients, and third-party partners for EDI connectivity and support

- Create technical documentation, process flows, and support manuals

- Ensure compliance with enterprise integration standards and security protocols

- Participate in system optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP EDI and OpenText solutions

- Expertise in IDOCs, ALE, EDI, and B2B integration processes

- Experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and other EDI standards

- Strong understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, and WM integration

- Hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI integrations

- Knowledge of communication protocols such as AS2, FTP/SFTP, HTTP, OFTP, and VAN

- Experience in EDI mapping, configuration, and monitoring tools

- Familiarity with middleware integration and message transformation processes

- Strong understanding of SAP partner profiles, message types, process codes, and output determination

- Experience in production support, incident management, and troubleshooting

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment

- Exposure to cloud integration platforms

- Knowledge of API-based integrations and automation workflows

- Experience working with global clients and large enterprise environments

- Understanding of DevOps and ITIL support processes

- Exposure to data security and compliance standards

Eligibility Criteria :

- Experience : 7- 12 Years

- Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days Preferred

- Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field
