SAP OpenText Application Expert

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP OpenText Application Expert with 5 - 10 years of experience to support and deliver OpenText solutions integrated with SAP environments. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SAP OpenText application management, document management, archiving, integration, troubleshooting, and project delivery.

The role involves working closely with SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure reliable and efficient OpenText application operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical and functional expertise for SAP OpenText applications.

- Support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of OpenText solutions.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective OpenText solutions.

- Manage and support SAPOpenText integrations across enterprise applications.

- Configure and maintain document management, archiving, and content management processes.

- Troubleshoot application, integration, workflow, and document-related issues.

- Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive solutions.

- Support OpenText application upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and project rollouts.

- Coordinate with SAP functional and technical teams for integration and application changes.

- Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.

- Provide production support and ensure timely resolution of business-critical incidents.

- Monitor application performance and ensure compliance with defined SLAs.

- Prepare technical and functional documentation, process guides, and knowledge articles.

- Coordinate with vendors and third-party teams for issue resolution and application support.

- Participate in project planning, status meetings, release activities, and Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5 - 10 years of experience in SAP/OpenText application environments.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP OpenText solutions.

- Experience in OpenText application implementation, configuration, enhancement, and support.

- Strong understanding of SAP and OpenText integration.

- Experience with document management, archiving, and content management.

- Good understanding of SAP application architecture and integration concepts.

- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving OpenText application issues.

- Experience with application testing, deployment, upgrades, and production support.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
