Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM / WM Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP Supply Chain solutions across enterprise-wide transformation programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM), along with strong experience in SAP S/4HANA environments. The role requires a blend of technical architecture, functional consulting, stakeholder engagement, and leadership capabilities to deliver scalable and business-aligned SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture & Design :

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP MM / WM solutions across large-scale enterprise programs.

- Define end-to-end solution architecture for procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics processes.

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance SAP solutions aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.

- Drive SAP Supply Chain transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational requirements.

Business & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Collaborate with business users, process owners, and key stakeholders to understand business requirements.

- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, solution design sessions, and architecture reviews.

- Translate business needs into functional and technical solution designs.

- Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership teams on SAP Supply Chain capabilities and roadmap.

SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Delivery :

- Provide architectural leadership for SAP S/4HANA MM / WM implementations, upgrades, rollouts, migrations, and support engagements.

- Define solution strategies for greenfield, brownfield, and hybrid transformation programs.

- Ensure successful integration of SAP MM / WM with other SAP modules and external systems.

- Support project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle including blueprinting, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

Integration & Technical Governance :

- Collaborate closely with SAP PP, SD, EWM, FI/CO, QM, and other functional teams.

- Review and approve technical specifications, custom developments, interfaces, enhancements, reports, forms, and workflows.

- Ensure adherence to SAP architecture standards, governance frameworks, and development best practices.

- Drive performance optimization, solution standardization, and process automation initiatives.

Leadership & Mentoring :

- Provide technical and functional leadership to consulting and development teams.

- Mentor junior consultants, architects, and project team members.

- Conduct solution reviews and ensure quality deliverables throughout project execution.

- Support pre-sales activities, solution estimations, and proposal preparation when required.

Required Skills & Experience :

SAP Expertise :

- 10+ years of overall SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP WM (Warehouse Management).

- Proven experience working as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Lead Consultant in SAP Supply Chain projects.

- Extensive hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations and support environments.

- Strong understanding of SAP procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, stock transfer processes, and logistics execution.

- Purchasing and Vendor Management

- Inventory Management

- Warehouse Operations

- Goods Receipt and Goods Issue Processes

- Stock Transfers and Physical Inventory

- Batch Management and Material Master Data

- Valuation and Account Determination

Technical Competencies :

Experience reviewing and guiding custom developments, enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, and interfaces.

Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies and middleware concepts.

Experience integrating SAP MM / WM with :

- SAP PP (Production Planning)

- SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)

- SAP FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)

- SAP QM (Quality Management)

- SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)

Stakeholder Management :

Strong client-facing consulting experience.

Ability to conduct solution workshops, architecture discussions, and executive-level presentations.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in global and multicultural project environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

- Exposure to global implementation, rollout, and transformation programs.

- Experience with SAP Fiori applications related to MM and Warehouse processes.

- Knowledge of SAP Supply Chain best practices and industry-standard business processes.

- Understanding of integration with third-party warehouse and logistics systems.

- SAP Activate methodology experience.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.

Master's Degree is an added advantage.

Certifications (Preferred) :

- SAP Certified Application Associate Materials Management (MM)

- SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement Certification

- SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Certification

- SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Certification
