About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced S/4 HANA MM Consultant with deep functional expertise and proven delivery experience in pharma industry implementations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of procurement, inventory management, batch management, and integration with QA/QC processes within regulated environments.

This is a senior offshore role supporting a global SAP transformation program.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and deliver SAP MM functional design, configuration, and testing activities in S/4 HANA

- Drive end-to-end implementation cycles including requirements gathering, blueprinting, build, UAT, and go-live

- Work closely with onsite architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams (SD, PP, QM, FI)

- Configure core MM processes: procurement, MRP, inventory management, vendor management, STOs, batch management, and serialization

- Support integration with pharma-specific processes such as GxP, validation, QA/QC, and compliance workflows

- Prepare functional specs, test scripts, and documentation

- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements

- Collaborate in a global delivery model with strong communication and ownership

Mandatory Qualifications :

- 10+ years of SAP MM experience

- Minimum one full end-to-end SAP implementation in the Pharma industry

- Strong understanding of regulated environments (GxP, FDA, EMA)

- Expertise in MM master data, procurement cycles, inventory management, and batch handling

- Implement DEA-controlled material processes, including controlled substance handling, compliance workflows, and audit readiness

- Configure Quota Management for restricted materials, procurement controls, and regulatory reporting

- Implement Subcontracting processes including procurement, inventory visibility, batch tracking, and quality integration

- Ensure alignment with pharma regulatory requirements (GxP, FDA, EMA)

- Experience with integration to PP, SD, QM, and WM/EWM

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with global teams

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with S/4HANA

- Knowledge of EWM or WM

- Exposure to serialization or Track & Trace

- Understanding of validation documentation (CSV, IQ/OQ/PQ)
