About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant with hands-on expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle SAP MM implementations, strong functional knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, and practical exposure to purchasing, manufacturing, inventory, and cross-border scenarios.

The role involves configuring MM modules, supporting business processes, working with integration teams, and collaborating with ABAP developers to ensure smooth SAP MM operations across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP MM Implementation & Configuration :

- Participate in full-cycle SAP MM implementations (minimum 3 implementations, with exposure to S/4HANA).

- Configure enterprise structures including plants, storage locations, and purchasing organizations.

- Implement and support P2P processes: subcontracting, third-party procurement, release strategies, inventory management, pricing, and account determination.

- Handle Advanced STOs (Stock Transport Orders) and Embedded WM (Warehouse Management) in S/4HANA.

- Support cross-border (import/export) and intercompany scenarios for procurement and inventory.

Integration & Technical Collaboration :

- Work with functional and technical teams on IDOC/ALE interfaces for seamless system integration.

- Collaborate with ABAP developers to provide functional insights and perform basic debugging if required.

- Ensure business processes are compliant with organizational and regulatory standards.

Analysis & Support :

- Conduct business requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design for SAP MM processes.

- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot MM module issues.

- Document configuration, functional specifications, and process flows.

- Train end-users and support adoption of SAP MM processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6-8 years of SAP MM experience, with at least 3 full-cycle implementations.

- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA (Advanced STO, Embedded WM).

- Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, inventory management, pricing, and account determination.

- Experience with cross-border procurement, intercompany scenarios, and international business processes.

- Exposure to IDOCs, ALE, and integration points.

- Basic understanding of ABAP debugging.

- Graduate degree (minimum 4 academic years).

Preferred : 3+ years of domain experience in Purchasing or Manufacturing.
