SAP MM Consultant - AMS / Support.

Role Type : SAP MM Functional Consultant - AMS / Production Support.

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support our client's Application Management Services (AMS) operations.

The role involves production support, incident and change management, and ensuring stability of business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

The consultant will work across procurement and inventory management processes, support integrations, and handle continuous improvements. This role requires flexibility to work in a remote, shift-based AMS support model supporting global regions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide L2/L3 support for SAP MM processes including procurement and inventory management.

- Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.

- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

- Monitor system health including background jobs, IDocs, and interface queues.

- Analyse and implement minor enhancements and configuration changes aligned with global templates.

- Maintain and enhance PR/PO release strategies and workflows.

- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) for RICEFW objects and coordinate with ABAP teams.

- Support end-to-end Procurement and Inventory Management processes, including PR, PO, GR/GI, Invoice Verification (MIRO), Subcontracting, Consignment, and STO.

- Maintain and support Material Master, Vendor/Business Partner, Info Records, and Source Lists.

- Support integrations between MM and FI, SD, PP, QM, and WM/EWM modules.

- Support unit testing, regression testing, and UAT.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8 - 10 years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP MM in AMS/support environments.

- Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and/or S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement.

- Minimum 4 - 5 years in SAP production support, handling P1/P2 incidents.

- Expertise in PR/PO release strategies, workflows, Batch Management, and Split Valuation.

- Experience with LSMW, BDC, IDoc monitoring, and middleware integrations (e.g., MuleSoft).

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- SAP MM / S/4HANA certification preferred.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a remote, shift-based environment.
