SAP MM and PP Consultant

Role Overview:

As an SAP MM and PP Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and implementing robust SAP solutions that streamline our clients' procurement, inventory management, and production processes. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders across supply chain, manufacturing, and finance, as well as technical teams and project managers, to translate complex business requirements into effective SAP functionalities. Your expertise will directly impact operational efficiency, drive cost reductions, and enhance decision-making capabilities for our users and customers, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of comprehensive SAP MM and PP solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and industry best practices for procurement, inventory, and production planning.

- Conduct in-depth workshops with business users to meticulously gather, analyze, and document functional requirements, effectively translating them into detailed technical specifications for development teams.

- Facilitate seamless integration of SAP MM and PP modules with other critical SAP functionalities, including FI, SD, and QM, to ensure end-to-end process flow, data consistency, and operational synergy.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide effective training and documentation to end-users, fostering successful system adoption and proficiency.

- Provide expert-level support for existing SAP MM/PP functionalities, troubleshoot complex issues, and proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements to drive continuous improvement.

- Contribute significantly to project planning, scope definition, and resource estimation, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions within defined budgetary and timeline constraints.

Required Skillset:

- Deep expertise in SAP MM, encompassing Procurement, Inventory Management, Valuation, Invoice Verification, and Master Data, alongside strong proficiency in SAP PP, including MRP, Production Orders, Discrete/Repetitive Manufacturing, Capacity Planning, and Master Data.

- A comprehensive understanding of integration points with SAP FI, SD, and QM modules, demonstrating the ability to design and implement cross-functional solutions.

- Proven proficiency in business process analysis, solution design, configuration, and full lifecycle implementation methodologies, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior business stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to lead discussions, facilitate workshops, and build consensus among cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a results-oriented approach to delivering high-quality outcomes.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputed institution.

- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in SAP MM and PP consulting roles, including multiple full lifecycle implementations, with a strong preference for S/4HANA experience.

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote work environment, maintaining high productivity, effective collaboration, and strong communication across distributed teams.
