Role Description :

This is a full-time, on-site role for an SAP MDM Functional Consultant located in Itanagar.

The role involves analyzing business processes, gathering and defining data requirements, and providing consultative support for SAP Master Data Management (MDM) across various functions.

The consultant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and align MDM practices with organizational strategies to optimize business value and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications :

Key Focus Areas :

- Functional Master Data Governance & Data Quality.

- Master Data value mapping, business rules & bug resolution.

- Collaboration with process and domain teams.

- Supporting large master data domains & reference data.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, preferably within a consumer products environment.

- Strong understanding of master and transactional data processes, data architecture, hierarchies, and dependencies.

- Hands-on experience with SAP MDG (CRUD workflows, functional design, and testing).

- Experience in data quality rule design and testing.

- Fiori UI functional design experience.

- Proven experience in master data standardization, cleansing, and harmonization.

- Experience with data governance tools is an advantage (purely technical profiles not suitable).

- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills with the ability to see the bigger picture.

- Self-driven professional with the ability to work independently.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

- Ability to challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement.

- Experience working across global, multi-cultural teams and regions.

- Fluent in English (additional languages preferred).

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred.

- Willingness to travel up.
