Role Overview :

As an SAP MDM Consultant based in Mumbai, you will serve as a critical bridge between business requirements and technical execution. You will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive master data strategies that ensure data integrity and consistency across the enterprise landscape. Working closely with cross-functional teams and key business stakeholders, you will lead data governance initiatives and migration projects, ensuring that the organization's data assets are accurate, accessible, and optimized to support informed decision-making and seamless business operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and configure SAP MDG solutions to meet complex business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.

- Lead end-to-end data migration projects by mapping legacy data to SAP structures, ensuring high levels of data quality and minimal business disruption.

- Define and implement data governance frameworks and workflows to maintain long-term data accuracy and compliance across the organization.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot data-related issues, providing sustainable solutions that enhance system performance.

- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical specifications, ensuring the MDM strategy aligns with broader business objectives.

Required Skillset :

- Possess 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP MDM and SAP MDG, with a deep understanding of data modeling, validation rules, and change request processes.

- Demonstrate proficiency in managing data quality initiatives, including data cleansing, enrichment, and standardization techniques.

- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex business processes and translate them into robust functional designs.

- Communicate effectively with technical teams and business leaders, facilitating clear documentation and project status updates.

- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to the fast-paced, on-site work environment in Mumbai.

- Hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a solid understanding of SAP functional modules.
