Capgemini - SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant

We are hosting a Face-to-Face Interview Drive to hire experienced SAP MDG Technical, SAP MDG Functional, and SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultants across mid-to-senior levels (4 - 12 years of experience).

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, customizing, and supporting enterprise SAP Master Data Governance solutions across key domains such as Business Partner (BP/Customer/Vendor), Material Master (MM), and Financial data, integrated with SAP S/4HANA and legacy landscapes.

Open Positions & Specialized Track Responsibilities :

Track 1 : SAP MDG Functional Consultant :

- Lead domain requirement gathering, gap analysis, and blueprinting for Master Data domains (Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance).

- Define data models, business rules, governance frameworks, data quality measures, and duplicate check logic.

- Configure MDG data structures, UI models, and governance workflows based on functional specifications.

- Author detailed Functional Specifications (RICEFW) and design documentations.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive user acceptance testing (UAT), end-user training, and change management.

Track 2 : SAP MDG Technical Consultant :

- Develop and customize SAP MDG solutions using ABAP, ABAP WebDynpro, Fiori, and Floorplan Manager (FPM).

- Design and configure BRF+ (Business Rules Framework plus) for data validation, derivations, and routing rules.

- Implement rule-based workflows using SAP Business Workflow / BRF+ workflow engines.

- Extend and enhance MDG standard Data Models, UI Layouts, SMT (Service Mapping Tool) mappings, and BAdIs.

- Manage data replication framework (DRF) setup and technical integrations with SAP S/4HANA, legacy systems, and external platforms via IDocs, Web Services, and APIs.

Track 3 : SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant :

- Serve as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation across end-to-end MDG project lifecycles.

- Lead both process design and hands-on technical development (Data Modeling, BRF+, Workflow, UI configuration).

- Architect end-to-end master data governance flows, including consolidation, mass processing, and centralized governance.

- Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, code reviews, and technical debugging across MDG implementations and support engagements.

Key Technical & Domain Requirements :

- Experience : 4 to 12 years of core hands-on experience in SAP MDG implementation, rollout, and support projects.

- Master Data Domains : Strong hands-on expertise in at least two core domains :

1. Business Partner (BP) / Customer / Vendor Master

2. Material Master (MM)

3. Financial Master Data (GL, Cost Center, Profit Center)

- Core MDG Capabilities :

1. Data Modeling, UI Modeling (FPM / Fiori), and Service Mapping Tool (SMT).

2. BRF+ configuration (Validations, Derivations, and Decision Tables).

3. Rule-based Workflows and DRF (Data Replication Framework).

4. Consolidation and Mass Processing in SAP MDG.

- Integration Experience : Hands-on experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, non-SAP systems, and SAP CPI/PI/PO.

- Technical Skills (Technical/Techno-Functional tracks) : Advanced ABAP, OO ABAP, WebDynpro, FPM, BAdIs, Enhancements, and IDocs/ALE.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Proven track record in at least 1 - 2 full lifecycle SAP MDG implementations.

- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration, data governance best practices, and enterprise data architecture.

- Excellent communication, client-facing, and analytical problem-solving skills.

- Flexibility to participate in a Face-to-Face Interview Drive and relocate/work from Pune or Hyderabad
