Role : SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant

As a SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant at nexionpro, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and delivering end-to-end SAP Master Data Governance solutions across multiple data domains (Material, Business Partner, Finance, and Custom data model) within S/4HANA and SAP BTP environments.

Responsibilities :

Technical Development :

- Develop and enhance SAP MDG solutions using ABAP, BRF+, BAdIs, and SAP Workflow.

- Implement and customize MDG Data Models, UI Modelling (FPM/Floorplan Manager), and Replication Frameworks.

- Design and implement UI5/Fiori extensions & custom MDG UI.

- Configure and support Rule-Based Workflows and Change Request (CR) Processes.

Functional & Configuration :

- Configure MDG Data Models, CR Types, Entity Types, Validations/Derivations, and BRF+ business rules.

- Define and manage data governance processes, approval hierarchies, and workflow routing logic.

- Work with Business Users and Functional Teams to translate governance policies and master data requirements into technical and functional designs.

- Ensure data quality, harmonization, and enrichment through rules and validations.

Integration & Lifecycle :

- Configure Data Replication Framework (DRF) for integration with S/4HANA, ECC, & Non-SAP systems.

- Participate in design, build, testing, UAT, cut over, and hyper care phases of the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience :

Proficiency in :

- ABAP (BAdIs, Enhancements, APIs)

- BRF+ (Derivation & Validation Rules)

- MDG Workflow (Rule-based & Template-based)

- UI Modelling

- Process Modelling

- Data Modelling & Governance Frameworks

- Data Replication Framework (DRF)

- Strong understanding of Material Master, Business Partner, and Finance data domains.

- Familiarity with SAP BTP, MDG on Cloud, and Integration Suite (optional but desirable).

- Strong experience in Issue Debugging, Performance Optimization, and UAT Support.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with MDG Consolidation (MDG-C) and MDG Mass Processing.

- Knowledge of SAP MDG APIs and Enhancements (USMD framework).

- Exposure to SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for governance reporting.

- Familiarity with MDG on BTP and Integration with SAP Cloud Platform services.

- Understanding of Master Data Strategy, Governance KPIs, and Data Quality Management (DQM)
