Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and ABAP development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP MDG solutions for Customer, Vendor, Material, and Financial Master Data domains.

The role requires deep technical knowledge in MDG configurations, custom developments, workflow design, data replication, UI enhancements, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work on end-to-end SAP MDG implementation projects across domains such as Customer, Vendor, Material, and Financial Masters.

- Perform SAP MDG configurations and customizations including :

1. Data Modeling

2. UI Modeling

3. Process Modeling

4. Data Replication Framework (DRF)

5. Key Mapping

6. Validation & Derivations

7. BRF+ configurations

- Develop and enhance MDG applications using :

1. ABAP Object-Oriented Programming

2. ABAP Workflow

3. Web Dynpro

4. Floor Plan Manager (FPM)

- Enhance standard MDG data models and create custom data models as per business requirements.

- Configure and enhance MDG UI using FPM, context-based adaptation, and Web Dynpro techniques.

- Configure process models including :

1. Business Activities

2. Change Request Types

3. Rule-Based Workflow

4. BRF+ Rules

- Handle data migration activities for master data objects such as Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance.

- Work on master data replication using DRF, DIF, SOA services, and ALE configurations.

- Implement validations and derivations using BAdIs and BRF+.

- Integrate SAP MDG with :

1. SAP Information Steward

2. SAP Data Services

- Develop custom MDG objects and technical solutions based on client-specific requirements.

- Support UAT, cutover, and go-live activities during implementation projects.

- Ensure proper status reporting, deliverable management, and effective stakeholder communication.

- Collaborate with functional teams, business users, and technical stakeholders for successful project delivery.

4. BOL & GENIL Programming

- Knowledge of :

1. BADIs

2. ALE/IDoc

Additional Skills :

- Good understanding of master data migration processes

- Experience with SAP Information Steward and SAP Data Services integration

- Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities
