Role Overview :

As an SAP MDG Consultant, you will serve as a technical architect for our clients' master data strategy, ensuring that enterprise data remains accurate, consistent, and compliant across complex SAP landscapes. You will work closely with functional leads, business process owners, and technical teams to design and implement end-to-end master data governance solutions. Your work directly impacts the operational efficiency of our clients by eliminating data silos and ensuring high-quality data flows across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, ultimately enabling more reliable business reporting and streamlined supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and configure SAP MDG solutions to meet specific business requirements for data governance, ensuring seamless integration with existing SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems.

- Develop complex data models and user interfaces to support business processes, ensuring that data entry and validation are intuitive for end-users.

- Configure SAP BRF+ rules to automate data validation and approval workflows, reducing manual intervention and minimizing data entry errors.

- Lead data migration activities by mapping legacy data to SAP MDG structures, ensuring data integrity and consistency during cutover phases.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define data governance policies and stewardship processes that align with organizational data quality standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the MDG framework, providing ongoing support and optimization for existing implementations.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in SAP MDG configuration, including data modeling, UI modeling, and process modeling for various domains such as Material, Business Partner, and Finance.

- Strong technical proficiency in SAP BRF+ and SAP Workflow, with the ability to design complex business rules and approval hierarchies.

- Proven experience in managing end-to-end data migration projects, including data profiling, cleansing, and mapping from legacy systems to SAP environments.

- Deep understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data structures, enabling effective integration and cross-module communication.

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating workshops and gathering requirements effectively.

- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG and related data management modules.

- Capability to work effectively in a distributed environment, maintaining high productivity and collaboration across multiple locations or remote setups.
