SAP MD with MDG Consultant

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP MD with MDG Consultant to join our growing SAP practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting master data solutions across enterprise landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions for Customer, Vendor, Material, Business Partner, and Financial master data domains.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP MDG solutions.

- Configure data models, workflows, business rules, validations, derivations, and BRF+ rules.

- Develop and maintain data governance processes, workflows, and approval mechanisms.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

- Perform data migration, data cleansing, and data quality management activities.

- Integrate SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other enterprise applications.

- Support master data harmonization and governance initiatives across the organization.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to master data governance processes.

- Prepare functional specifications and support technical development teams during implementation.

Required Skills :

- 5-8 years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on SAP MDG implementation/support experience.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Master Data concepts and governance processes.

- Expertise in SAP MDG Data Models, Change Requests, Workflows, BRF+, and Business Rules.

- Experience with Material Master, Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, and Finance Master Data domains.

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments.

- Knowledge of Data Quality Management and Data Migration processes.

- Experience in integrating SAP MDG with SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- SAP MDG certification is highly preferred.

- Experience with SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward, or SAP BTP.

- Knowledge of ABAP debugging and enhancements in MDG environments.

- Experience working in Agile delivery models.

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- SAP MDG Certification is an added advantage.
