SAP MDG Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement SAP MDG solutions across relevant master data domains

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into MDG functional concepts and technical implementations

- Configure MDG data models, change requests, workflows, validations, and derivations

- Develop MDG enhancements using ABAP / ABAP OO (BAdIs, custom logic, UI adjustments)

- Support integration of SAP MDG with S/4HANA and connected systems

- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams

- Support testing, documentation, and go-live activities.

- Oversee creation and maintenance of automated test cases.

- Run and monitor automated test cycles, defects, and followup.

- Maintain clear oversight of the automation portfolio.

Key Skills & Expertise :

- 5+ years' experience in SAP MDG (Material, BP and finance) with S/4HANA

- Hands-on functional consulting experience (process design, configuration, governance concepts)

- Hands-on development experience in SAP MDG (ABAP, enhancements, BAdIs)

- Experience with :

i. MDG data modeling (standard + extension)

ii. UI Configuration

iii. Rule-based workflows

iv. Change Request processing & governance

v. Validations and Derivations

vi. ABAP / ABAP OO

vii. CDS Views and APIbased integration or Odata

viii. DQM
