Role Overview :

As an SAP ISU Billing Consultant, you will serve as a pivotal bridge between complex utility business requirements and robust technical solutions. Your day-to-day involves designing, configuring, and troubleshooting billing processes within the SAP IS-U module to ensure seamless revenue cycle management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical developers to translate intricate utility regulations into functional specifications. By maintaining system integrity and optimizing billing performance, you directly impact the accuracy of customer invoicing and the overall operational efficiency of our utility clients, ensuring they remain compliant and competitive in a dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and maintain SAP IS-U billing master data, including rate structures, schema determination, and billing cycles to ensure accurate and timely invoice generation for end customers.

- Execute complex billing scenarios and resolve production issues by leveraging deep knowledge of SAP T-Codes to minimize revenue leakage and improve service delivery.

- Partner with business process owners to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs that align with industry-standard utility practices.

- Manage end-to-end testing lifecycles using Qmetry to validate system changes, ensuring high-quality deployments that meet rigorous business standards.

- Provide expert-level functional support to internal teams and clients, facilitating smooth system operations and rapid resolution of billing-related anomalies.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrate deep functional expertise in SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing, with a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end utility domain processes.

- Exhibit advanced proficiency in navigating SAP T-Codes to perform system diagnostics, configuration, and data analysis effectively.

- Apply practical experience with Qmetry to manage test cases, track defects, and ensure comprehensive quality assurance across all project phases.

- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, fostering strong professional relationships and collaborative problem-solving.

- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and engagement while working across distributed teams.

- Possess 5 - 8 years of relevant professional experience in SAP IS-U implementations or support engagements, demonstrating a track record of delivering high-impact utility solutions.
