Role Overview :

As an SAP IS-Oil & Gas Functional Consultant, you will serve as a bridge between complex business requirements and robust technical solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize SAP environments tailored to the unique demands of the oil and gas industry. Your daily contributions will directly influence the efficiency of supply chain, logistics, and distribution processes, ensuring that our clients maintain operational continuity and data integrity within their S/4 HANA landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize SAP IS-Oil modules, including TD and TSW, to align with client-specific business requirements and operational workflows.

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP MM and SD modules within the oil and gas vertical to ensure seamless integration across the supply chain.

- Translate complex business needs into detailed functional specifications and comprehensive business process documentation to guide technical development teams.

- Conduct gap analysis and provide strategic recommendations to optimize existing SAP S/4 HANA configurations for improved performance.

- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new system functionalities and process improvements.

- Collaborate with technical developers to troubleshoot system issues, perform rigorous testing, and manage the successful deployment of SAP enhancements.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in SAP IS-Oil, specifically within the TD (Transportation and Distribution) and TSW (Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench) components.

- Proven ability to manage SAP MM and SD functional configurations within an S/4 HANA environment, ensuring high levels of system accuracy.

- Strong analytical capability to document business processes and translate them into actionable technical requirements for diverse project stakeholders.

- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex functional concepts to both technical teams and business leadership.

- Ability to work effectively in a distributed environment, maintaining high productivity and collaboration across multiple locations.

- Possession of 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in SAP functional consulting, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects in the oil and gas sector.
