Role & responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain API based integrations using SAP CPI/iFlow frameworks.
- Build and manage data and process integrations between SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise applications such as MES, LIMS, QMS, and CRM.
- Ensure integrations meet GxP, SOX, and data-integrity compliance requirements through proper documentation and validation.
- Develop and maintain integration error handling, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with business process owners and IT functional teams to translate business requirements into robust integration designs.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and change-control activities per CSV and Part 11 standards.
- Optimize integration performance, scalability, and reusability across environments.
- Work with onshore teams to ensure seamless handoffs, knowledge sharing, and follow-the-sun support coverage.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in integration development, with strong hands-on work in SAP CPI or SAP PI/PO.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, OData, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security (OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, etc.).
- Working knowledge of integration lifecycle management, including versioning, CI/CD, and DevOps pipelines.
- Familiarity with GMP and GxP-regulated environments and associated documentation/validation practices.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience :
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with Tulip MES or LabVantage LIMS.
- Exposure to Azure Integration Services or Databricks pipelines.
- Prior experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life-sciences manufacturing industries
