SAP HXM Business Analyst

Job Description :

The SAP HXM Business Analyst will play a key role in analyzing business requirements and implementing functional solutions within SAP HCM/HXM environments. This is a contractual and remote position requiring a strong understanding of HR business processes and experience working with business stakeholders.

About the Role :

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a Business Analyst and/or Functional Consultant role within SAP HCM/HXM environments. The role involves working directly with business stakeholders to translate business needs into functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Gathering and analyzing business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process observation, user surveys, and data extraction from systems such as ServiceNow, SAP, and other enterprise applications

- Documenting and structuring business and functional requirements

- Creating process flows, use cases, user stories, and other visual representations of requirements

- Defining and executing testing strategies, including test planning, test case preparation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support

- Conducting functional testing and UAT

Required Skills :

- Minimum 7-8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst and/or Functional Consultant role within SAP HCM/HXM environments

- Strong understanding of HR business processes, especially Payroll and Time & Leave Management

- Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating business needs into functional solutions

- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with creating mock-ups and visual prototypes

- Experience in the daily use of AI to support Business Analysis activities, prompt engineering, designing and using AI agents

Qualifications :

The candidate should have a strong educational background and relevant certifications in SAP HCM/HXM. The role requires working in a remote setup and being available in the specified time zones (1:00 PM / 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM / 11:00 PM IST).

Profile Requirements

- Minimum 7-8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst and/or Functional Consultant role within SAP HCM / HXM environments.

- Strong understanding of HR business processes, especially Payroll and Time & Leave Management, and their implementation in SAP HCM/SAP HR and SuccessFactors solutions.

- Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating business needs into functional solutions.

iv. User surveys and questionnaires

v. Data extraction and analysis from systems such as ServiceNow, SAP, and other enterprise applications

- Creating process flows, use cases, user stories, and other visual representations of requirements when appropriate.

- Experience with creating mock-ups and visual prototypes is considered a strong advantage.

- Defining and executing testing strategies, including :

i. Test planning and coordination

ii. Preparation of test scenarios and test cases

iii. Support and leadership of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Hands-on execution of functional testing when required

- Conducting functional testing and UAT

- Experience in the daily use of AI to support Business Analysis activities, prompt engineering, designing and using AI agents
