SAP HR/ABAP Techno- Functional Consultant

Job Role : SAP HR ABAP (US Payroll) Consultant Techno-Functional

Experience Required :

- 3 - 8 Years overall experience

- 6+ Years in SAP US Payroll (mandatory)

Role Overview :

We are looking for a SAP HR ABAP Consultant (Techno-Functional) with strong expertise in US Payroll.

The role involves working on payroll configurations, supporting projects, and collaborating with business teams to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Support and lead project workstreams

- Analyze business requirements and convert them into solutions

- Identify issues and recommend effective solutions

- Work closely with functional and technical teams

- Ensure smooth execution of payroll processes

Core SAP US Payroll Expertise :

Hands-on experience in :

- Ordinary & Off-cycle payroll

- Payroll schema & calculation rules

- Payroll features & operations

- Payroll forms & remuneration statements

- Wage types & cumulation

- Retroactive calculations

- Accruals

- Gross-to-net processing

- Data medium exchange

- Garnishments & benefits

- Posting payroll results to accounting

SAP Time Management Knowledge :

Good understanding of :

- Daily time data processing

- Absence management

- Time quotas (compensation)

- Overtime & reduced working schedules

- Time wage valuation

Technical & Functional Skills :

- Strong knowledge of SAP HCM US Payroll

- Basic to good understanding of ABAP

Experience in :

- Debugging

- Job scheduling

- Technical integrations

Education :

Degree in :

- Computer Science

- Information Technology

- Computer Engineering

- Or equivalent relevant experience

Preferred :

- Certification in SAP HCM / EC Payroll

- Strong techno-functional exposure

Soft Skills :

- Excellent English communication (verbal & written)

- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
