Role : SAP HCM Payroll / Compensation & Benefits - Functional Consultant

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Functional Consultant with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant SAP HCM Payroll experience, including strong hands-on experience in German Payroll.

- The consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP HCM Payroll and Compensation & Benefits functionality, with particular emphasis on German Payroll, payroll schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), payroll cycles, wage types, and payroll processing.

- The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in German Payroll and be capable of working across functional and technical areas, including ABAP debugging, SAP BTP integrations, SAP Fiori, and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

- The role involves both project implementation and production support, requiring strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Mandatory Requirements :

- 7+ Years of Relevant SAP HCM Experience : Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM, with significant experience specifically in SAP HCM Payroll.

- Strong German Payroll Experience : Hands-on experience with German Payroll is mandatory, including payroll schemas, PCRs, taxation, social insurance, and statutory processing.

- Payroll Schema and PCR Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with SAP Payroll schemas and Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs).

Core Responsibilities :

- Act as an SAP HCM Payroll functional expert, specializing in German Payroll.

- Implement new payroll functionality based on business requirements.

- Configure and enhance SAP Payroll processes.

- Support German payroll processing and statutory requirements.

- Configure and maintain payroll wage types.

- Develop and maintain payroll schemas and PCRs.

- Support regular and off-cycle payroll processing.

- Implement SAP Compensation & Benefits requirements.

- Configure salary components, allowances, bonuses, and incentives.

- Support integration of Compensation & Benefits processes with Payroll.

Technical Skills :

- ABAP : Basic to intermediate ABAP development knowledge is desirable.

- SAP BTP : Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for extensions and integrations is desirable.

- SAP SuccessFactors / ECP : Basic knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central Payroll (ECP), is an advantage.

- SAP Fiori : Experience with SAP Fiori and UX optimization is desirable.

Support Responsibilities :

- Incident analysis and resolution, payroll issue investigation, root-cause analysis, and documentation of solutions.
