Job Summary :

Virtusa is seeking a skilled SAP HCM Payroll Consultant with strong experience in SAP ECC 6.0 payroll configuration and support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP HCM Payroll and the ability to provide L2/L3 production support while quickly adapting to client-specific systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll in ECC 6.0 or higher environments

- Handle end-to-end payroll processing, including schema, rules, and payroll drivers

- Provide Tier 2 & Tier 3 (L2/L3) production support for existing SAP systems

- Troubleshoot payroll-related issues and ensure timely resolution

- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for enhancements and system improvements

- Quickly learn and adapt to client-implemented tools such as BrassRing, Etrack, etc.

- Ensure system compliance and maintain documentation for configurations and processes

Required Skills & Experience :

- 35 years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll configuration

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP R/3

- Expertise in :

1. Payroll schemas & rules

2. Wage types

3. Payroll processing & troubleshooting

- Experience in production support (L2/L3 support)

- Good understanding of HR processes and payroll lifecycle

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge or experience in :

1. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC)

2. Employee Central Payroll (ECP)

- Experience working with tools like BrassRing, Etrack

- Ability to learn new systems quickly and work in dynamic client environments

Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, IT, or related field

- SAP HCM certification is a plus
