SAP HCM Payroll Consultant

Role Overview :

We are hiring an SAP HCM Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in Australia payroll processing. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting payroll execution, validation, and reconciliation activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform payroll validation, reconciliation, and error resolution

- Handle retro calculations, off-cycle payments, and adjustments

- Ensure compliance with Australian payroll regulations and statutory requirements

- Process payroll postings to Finance / General Ledger

- Support data migration, payroll balances validation, and YTD reconciliation

- Participate in payroll testing, parallel runs, and UAT activities

- Troubleshoot payroll issues and resolve discrepancies during payroll cycles

- Provide support during audits and ensure accurate documentation

Functional Expertise :

- Experience with PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and STP reporting

- Understanding of leave management, termination payments, and award interpretation

Required Skills :

- Strong understanding of payroll compliance and statutory regulations

- Experience in payroll testing, integrations, and reporting

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in Australia time zone

Candidate Profile :

- Good stakeholder communication skills

- Ability to handle payroll cycles independently

- Experience working in client-facing environments
