The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Payroll configuration, schema and rule development, payroll processing, tax updates, benefits integration, and year-end activities.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure payroll compliance, process optimization, and seamless payroll operations.

Responsibilities :

- Configure and support SAP HCM US Payroll solutions.

- Analyze business requirements and provide functional solutions for payroll processes.

- Configure payroll schemas, rules, wage types, payroll areas, and payroll control records.

- Support payroll processing, payroll corrections, and off-cycle payroll activities.

- Manage payroll tax updates, BSI tax factory integration, and regulatory compliance requirements.

- Perform payroll reconciliation and validation activities.

- Support year-end payroll processes, including W-2 generation and tax reporting.

- Work on integrations between Payroll, Time Management, Benefits, and Finance modules.

- Troubleshoot payroll-related issues and provide root cause analysis.

- Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.

- Prepare functional specifications and support technical teams during developments.

- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and business users for process improvements.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

- SAP HCM Payroll Certification is preferred.

- Experience supporting US Payroll processes in large enterprise environments.

- SAP US Payroll: SAP US Payroll Configuration, Payroll Schemas and Rules, Wage Types, Payroll Control Record, Off-Cycle Payroll, Retroactive Accounting, Taxation and Garnishments, BSI Tax Factory, and Payroll Posting to Finance.

- Payroll Compliance: Federal, State, and Local Tax Processing, W-2 Processing, Year-End Activities, Payroll Audits, and Reconciliation.

- Preferred Skills: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), SAP HCM Time Management, SAP HR ABAP Debugging Knowledge, SAP S/4HANA HCM Integration, SAP Fiori Applications, Interface knowledge (IDocs, ALE, Middleware), ServiceNow/JIRA.
