Role Overview :

As an SAP HANA Specialist, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance data models and solutions that drive critical business insights. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve translating complex business requirements into robust technical specifications, performing advanced data modeling, and ensuring the efficient integration and provisioning of data within the SAP HANA environment.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and other technical teams to deliver scalable and performant solutions, directly impacting our ability to make data-driven decisions and enhance operational efficiency across various business functions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop sophisticated SAP HANA data models, including Attribute Views, Analytic Views, and Calculation Views, for business users to enable comprehensive reporting and analytics.

- Optimize existing HANA solutions and SQL scripts to improve query performance and ensure efficient data processing for critical business operations.

- Collaborate with functional teams and business analysts to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

- Implement and manage data provisioning techniques such as SLT, SDI, and BODS to integrate diverse data sources into HANA, providing a unified and reliable data foundation for stakeholders.

- Provide expert technical guidance and support for SAP HANA environments, troubleshooting issues and facilitating successful project delivery and knowledge transfer within the team.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed solutions to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to performance benchmarks for end-users.

- Stay abreast of the latest SAP HANA features and best practices, proactively recommending improvements and innovations to enhance our data landscape.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture, including in-memory computing principles and database administration.

- Proven expertise in SAP HANA data modeling, encompassing the creation and optimization of various view types and complex SQL scripting.

- Strong proficiency in data provisioning methods such as SAP SLT, SDI, and BODS, with a track record of successful data integration projects.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a meticulous approach to performance tuning and optimization within the SAP HANA environment.

- Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.

- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, distributed work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and effective collaboration with remote teams.
