Job Description :

We are looking for a highly motivated SAP GTS Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) and SAP technical development technologies including ABAP, ABAP OO, ABAP HANA, Web Dynpro for ABAP, CDS Views, OData Services, and SAP Fiori.

The ideal candidate should possess a balanced blend of functional understanding of SAP GTS business processes and technical development capabilities. The role involves supporting, enhancing, and implementing SAP GTS solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams.

The candidate will play a key role in delivering solutions related to global trade compliance, customs management, export control, and international trade processes.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP GTS Functional Consulting :

- Analyze and support business processes within SAP GTS.

- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration validation, and testing activities.

- Support key SAP GTS processes including :

1. Compliance Management

2. Export Control

3. Sanctioned Party Screening

4. Customs Management

5. Preference Processing

6. Risk Management

7. Trade Compliance

- Collaborate with business users to understand operational requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Assist in process optimization and system enhancements.

SAP ABAP & Technical Development :

- Develop and enhance SAP applications using :

1. ABAP

2. ABAP Objects (ABAP OO)

3. Enhancement Framework

4. BADIs

5. User Exits

6. Customer Exits

- Develop custom reports, interfaces, workflows, and forms.

- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards.

SAP HANA Development :

- Develop HANA-optimized applications and data models.

- Utilize :

1. CDS Views

2. Code Pushdown Techniques

3. SQLScript

4. AMDP (Preferred)

- Optimize performance of custom developments.

- Support S/4HANA-compatible developments.

CDS View & OData Development :

- Design and develop :

1. Basic CDS Views

2. Composite CDS Views

3. Consumption Views

- Develop and expose :

1. OData Services

2. REST-based integrations

- Build reusable APIs and data services.

- Support SAP Fiori application development through CDS annotations.

SAP Fiori Development :

- Develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications.

- Configure and support :

1. Fiori Launchpad

2. Fiori Elements Applications

3. Custom Fiori Applications

- Improve user experience through modern SAP UI technologies.

- Collaborate with UI/UX teams and business stakeholders.

Web Dynpro for ABAP :

- Develop and support Web Dynpro ABAP applications.

- Enhance existing business applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.

- Participate in UI modernization initiatives.

Integration & Support :

- Develop and support interfaces between SAP GTS and :

1. SAP ECC

2. SAP S/4HANA

3. External Customs Systems

4. Third-Party Trade Platforms

- Support :

1. IDocs

2. RFCs

3. BAPIs

4. Web Services

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Customer Engagement & Stakeholder Management :

- Interact directly with customers and business stakeholders.

- Understand customer expectations and provide technical guidance.

- Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.

- Provide status updates and solution recommendations.
