Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Functional Expert - Finance (FI) with deep expertise across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Management (AM). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ECC to S/4HANA transformation projects, specifically within the Public Sector and Manufacturing industries. This role demands strong process understanding, configuration capability, and cross-functional integration experience to ensure smooth financial transformation to S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead FIT-GAP analysis and process design workshops for FI modules during ECC to S/4HANA migration.

- Analyze Simplification Items and ensure readiness for Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, and enhanced Financial Closing capabilities.

- Configure and validate Finance processes for : General Ledger (Chart of Accounts harmonization, document splitting, parallel ledgers, and financial reporting). Accounts Payable (Vendor master alignment, payment program setup, and invoice processing integration with procurement). Accounts Receivable (Customer billing, dunning, credit management, and incoming payment processes). Asset Management (Asset master migration, depreciation area configuration, and New Asset Accounting setup).

- Collaborate with Controlling (CO), Procurement (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD) teams for end-to-end process alignment.

- Support data migration strategy and execution for finance-related master and transactional data.

- Define and validate functional specifications for RICEFW objects related to finance.

- Coordinate system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and cutover planning for finance workstreams.

- Document solution designs and maintain traceability using SAP Solution Manager or equivalent tools.

- Work closely with business process owners, auditors, and compliance teams to align on statutory and management reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8 - 12 years of SAP Finance functional experience, with at least one full ECC to S/4HANA transformation project.

- Strong knowledge of Public Sector or Manufacturing industry processes, including budgeting, fund management, and asset capitalization.

- Expertise in S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance and Group reporting, Taxes.

- Integration with MM, SD, and CO modules.

- Experience in data migration tools (Migration Cockpit, LSMW) and SAP Activate methodology.

- Strong understanding of financial reporting requirements and taxation applicable to public and manufacturing entities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Certification in S/4HANA Finance or SAP FI.

- Exposure to Central Finance or Group Reporting functionalities.

- Experience in Public Sector Accounting (PSM-FM) or Manufacturing cost flow mapping.

- Familiarity with SAP BTP or Fiori app extensions related to financial processes.
