Job Purpose :

The SAP FS-CD Functional Consultant is responsible for interacting with business users to gather and analyse requirements, translating these into effective technical solutions, and implementing new functionalities while improving existing functionalities in the SAP Financial Services - Collections and Disbursements (FS-CD) module. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams, including experts from other SAP modules, to define requirements and develop system solutions. The consultant will support mission-critical SAP financial applications, focusing on enterprise payments and billing, while continuously learning and growing skills within the FS-CD Insurance module.

Key Responsibilities :

- Interacting with the Business Users to gather and understand the requirements.

- Analysing and articulating business requirements from a functional standpoint.

- Translating requirements into effective technical solutions.

- Implementing new functionalities and improving existing functionalities in FS-CD.

- Collaborate with multiple teams, including other SAP modules (FI/GL, FS-PQM, FS-PM, FS-CM, FS-ICM, and FS-RI) experts, to define and understand the requirements and then explain the system solution.

- Work with multi-functional/technical teams to prioritise the work, get dependencies resolved and undertake system development.

- Undertake responsibility for the day-to-day care and support of mission-critical SAP financial applications with an emphasis on enterprise payments.

- The position requires a strong, well-rounded IT technician, quick to pick up on the overall business and technology processes supported by the team, while also eager to learn and grow skills in the FS-CD Insurance module used for enterprise-wide Payments and Billing.

Skills Required :

- Strong knowledge and experience in SAP FS-CD process and customisation.

- Excellent industry and business process know-how in the Finance, Insurance industry.

- Hands-on experience insurance domain and specifically in SAP Collections and Disbursements (FS-CD).

- Performed Requirement gathering, Requirement analysis documentation, and Requirements Implementation during the implementation process.

- 4 years or more of experience in SAP Collection and Disbursement (FS-CD) and worked on implementation and support projects.

- Must have at least 2 end-to-end implementation experiences in FS-CD.

- Experience in developing Reports, Interfaces, Extension (RICEFW) objects related to process areas in FS-CD like Dunning, Invoicing/Correspondence, Payments, Returns and Clearing.

- Experience in SAP FS-CD Master Data and Receivables data creation and maintenance using SAP standard tools like KCLJ.

- Strong Knowledge of SAP FS-CD /FI-GL Integration, Account determination concepts.

- Working knowledge of BDT, BRF+, ABAP Proxies, Complex Reports, file interfaces, direct input data transfer, and workflow.

- Good Programming Skills in ABAP, ABAP on HANA, ABAP Object Oriented Programming.

- Strong understanding of Agile processes (SCRUM, KANBAN) and best practices.
