SAP FI/EBS Consultant

Description : We're Hiring : SAP FI-EBS Consultant.

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI-EBS Consultant to join our team.

Position : SAP FI-EBS Consultant.

Experience Required : 6+ years.

Location : Chennai.

Notice Period : Immediate to 20 days.

Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Accounting.

- Develop and maintain FI master data.

- Conduct system testing and ensure data integrity.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

- Design, configure, and implement EBS processes, including bank key setup, house bank configuration, and payment program settings.

- Configure and customize bank statement upload and processing.

- Define and implement posting rules and interpretation algorithms.

- Troubleshoot and resolve EBS-related issues.

- Perform configuration of BAI2, MT940 and other bank statement formats.

- Automate bank reconciliation processes using EBS functionality.

- Optimize cash management and treasury operations.

- Ensure accurate and timely bank statement processing.

- Analyze existing financial processes and identify areas for improvement.

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.

- Provide expert advice on best practices for SAP FI and EBS implementations.

- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FI and EBS issues.

- Resolve user queries and provide training on SAP FI and EBS functionalities.

- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers.

- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Extensive hands-on experience in configuring and implementing SAP FI modules.

- Strong understanding of GL, AP, AR, and Bank Accounting processes.

- Proficiency in writing and executing test scripts.

- Knowledge of SAP FI integration with other modules (MM, SD).

- Deep understanding of EBS configuration and implementation.

- Experience with various bank statement formats (BAI2, MT940, etc.)

- Proficiency in defining posting rules and interpretation algorithms.

- Experience with manual and automatic post processing of bank statements.

- Proficiency in using SAP Solution Manager.

- Knowledge of SAP Treasury and Cash Management.

- Experience with Agile methodologies
