Role Overview :

As an SAP EWM Technical Consultant, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions within the SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) module. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and development teams to translate business requirements into robust and efficient technical designs.

Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of EWM with other SAP modules and external systems, optimizing warehouse operations and driving significant improvements in supply chain efficiency for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop custom solutions within SAP EWM using ABAP, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

- Configure and customize SAP EWM functionalities to optimize warehouse processes, including inbound processing, outbound processing, internal warehouse movements, and physical inventory.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop comprehensive solutions.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and stability of developed solutions.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM issues, ensuring minimal disruption to warehouse operations.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.

- Participate in SAP EWM implementation projects, contributing to all phases from blueprinting to go-live and support.

- Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP TM) and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process execution.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP EWM configuration and customization, with a deep understanding of warehouse processes and best practices.

- Proven ability to develop custom solutions using ABAP within the SAP EWM environment, including experience with user exits, BAPIs, and enhancement framework.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and development teams.

- Experience in SAP EWM implementation projects, with a solid understanding of project methodologies and best practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in Bangalore.

- Minimum 7- 11 years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and support.
