Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Delivery Lead to lead the delivery of SAP transformation and implementation programmes within the Oil & Gas industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of SAP solutions across upstream, midstream, downstream, and corporate business functions, while managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, stakeholders, and delivery teams.

The role requires strong SAP programme delivery experience combined with a solid understanding of Oil & Gas business processes and the ability to operate effectively across business, IT, systems integrators, vendors, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP Programme & Delivery Leadership :

- Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP programmes, including SAP S/4HANA (private cloud) transformation, SAP ECC upgrades, rollouts, migrations, integration with third parties, and application modernisation.

- Establish and manage delivery governance, methodologies, milestones, deliverables, and quality standards.

- Manage delivery across implementation partners, SAP teams, internal IT, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

- Own the integrated programme plan and ensure delivery against agreed scope, schedule, budget, and business outcomes.

- Coordinate multiple SAP workstreams and ensure effective dependencies across functional and technical teams.

Oil & Gas Business Process Delivery :

- Preferred experience in Oil & Gas business process delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

- 17+ years of experience in SAP delivery, programme management, or large-scale SAP transformation.

- Proven experience leading major SAP implementations, preferably SAP S/4HANA programmes.

- Significant experience working within the Oil & Gas / Energy sector.

- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex SAP programmes involving multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

- Strong knowledge of SAP delivery methodologies, preferably SAP Activate.

- Experience managing systems integrators and SAP implementation partners.

- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration, data migration, testing, cutover, and organizational change.

- Experience managing programme budgets, resources, risks, issues, and executive reporting.

- Strong understanding of enterprise integration and interfaces between SAP and non-SAP applications.
