Overview :

As an SAP Data Migration Engineer, you will play a key role in a large-scale S/4HANA Greenfield implementation program. You will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of data migration activities from multiple legacy systems into the new S/4HANA landscape. The role requires close collaboration with functional teams, data owners, and technical experts to ensure a smooth, high-quality, and compliant data transition.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute end-to-end data migration activities from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.

- Design and maintain the data migration strategy, including data scope, approach, tools, and governance.

- Collaborate with business and functional teams to define data objects, transformation rules, and mapping specifications.

- Develop and validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SAP tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, LSMW, or SAP Data Services (BODS).

- Ensure data quality through cleansing, validation, and reconciliation processes.

- Coordinate data mock loads, trial conversions, and final cutover activities in line with project timelines.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data migration issues, ensuring accuracy and completeness of migrated data.

- Support the creation of documentation, test plans, and migration reports.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of data migration processes and templates.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- BE /B.Tech /MCA /Bsc (Any Stream) /BCA/ M.sc (Any Steam) Full Time.

- Proven experience (minimum 5years) in SAP data migration projects, ideally within S/4HANA Greenfield or large transformation programs.

- Hands-on experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, Data Services (BODS), or other SAP ETL tools.

- Strong understanding of SAP data models and key business objects (e.g., material master, bill of materials, routers, business partners, transactional data).

- Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and transformation logic.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and IT teams.

- Experience with Agile project environments is a plus.

- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
