Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP UI5 / BTP Developer to join our enterprise application team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and user-centric applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). With 7+ years of experience, you will act as a technical anchor, guiding the frontend architecture, building custom Fiori/UI5 applications, integrating them seamlessly with backend systems via OData, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architecture & Development : Design and develop high-performance, responsive custom SAP UI5 applications (Freestyle and Fiori Elements) based on modern UX/UI practices and Fiori Design Guidelines.

- Backend Integration : Create, enhance, and consume secure OData Services (V2/V4) using SAP Gateway, CDS Views, and ABAP environments.

- BTP Cloud Deployment : Deploy, configure, and manage applications within the SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environment using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).

- System Configuration : Set up and manage SAP Fiori Launchpad, role-based cloud authorizations, routing, destinations, and BTP cockpit configurations (XSUAA, Connectivity services).

- Code Quality & Mentorship : Lead code reviews, enforce clean code practices, optimize application performance, and provide technical guidance to team members.

- Collaboration : Partner with functional consultants, business analysts, and backend architects to translate complex business requirements into technical blueprints.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Hands-on experience with the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) using Node.js or Java.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA extensions and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation tools for SAP cloud deployments (e.g., Project Piper, Jenkins).

- Official SAP Certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Fiori Application Developer or SAP BTP Technical Consultant).

Education & Soft Skills :

- Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Problem-Solving : Strong debugging and performance optimization skills for both UI and network layers.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Agile Mindset : Proven track record of working effectively within Scrum/Agile development frameworks.
