We are looking for an experienced SAP CO Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Controlling and Product Costing.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of end-to-end CO business processes and practical experience working across complex manufacturing scenarios such as MTO, MTS, ETO, PS, and CS.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead SAP CO implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support activities.

- Gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate business processes into SAP CO solutions.

- Configure and support core SAP CO processes including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.

- Work extensively on Product Costing across different business scenarios including Make-to-Order (MTO), Make-to-Stock (MTS), Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Project Systems (PS), and Customer Service (CS).

- Configure and support costing variants, cost component structures, valuation strategies, overhead calculation, and standard cost estimates.

- Work on production order costing, variance calculation, WIP, settlement, and period-end closing activities.

- Demonstrate strong understanding of CO objects including cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, activity types, cost elements, settlement objects, and profitability segments.

- Integrate SAP CO with FI, MM, PP, SD, PS, and other relevant SAP modules.

- Analyze business requirements and recommend appropriate SAP solutions based on actual process requirements.

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including allocations, settlements, assessments, and profitability reporting.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide sustainable solutions.

- Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for development and enhancements.

- Participate in testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.

- Drive process improvements, standardization, and optimization of SAP CO processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 810 years of relevant experience in SAP CO.

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP CO configuration and implementation/support projects.

- Proven experience in Product Costing with exposure to MTO, MTS, ETO, PS, and CS scenarios.

- Strong understanding of CO master data, CO objects, allocations, settlements, and period-end processes.

- Hands-on experience with Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA.

- Strong integration knowledge across FI, MM, PP, SD, and PS.

- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to explain actual project implementations, business processes, configurations, and solutions rather than only SAP terminology.
