Role Overview :

As a Senior SAP BW Consultant, you will serve as a technical architect and lead for our data warehousing initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex requirements into robust data models and reporting solutions. By overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of data integration and analytics, you will directly influence the efficiency of business intelligence operations and ensure that our clients maintain a competitive edge through high-performance data accessibility.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement complex data models using SAP BW/4HANA to support high-volume enterprise reporting requirements.

- Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration from diverse source systems into the SAP HANA environment.

- Collaborate with business process owners to define reporting KPIs and translate them into functional technical specifications.

- Lead performance tuning initiatives for data flows and queries to improve system responsiveness and user experience.

- Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of development quality.

- Manage the migration and upgrade of legacy SAP BW systems to modern HANA-based architectures to improve scalability and performance.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end SAP BW and SAP BI implementation, with a deep understanding of data warehousing principles and multidimensional modeling.

- Advanced proficiency in SAP HANA and SAP BW/4HANA, including the ability to leverage native HANA modeling for complex analytical scenarios.

- Strong analytical capabilities to troubleshoot data inconsistencies and resolve performance bottlenecks within the ETL layer.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical data strategies to non-technical stakeholders and business leaders.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote or distributed team environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration across multiple locations.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 5 - 15 years of hands-on experience in SAP data warehousing environments.
